What customers ask us before a retrofit.

Does the plant have to stand still completely?

We prepare the control cabinet and programming largely in advance. On site, usually only rewiring, installation and commissioning remain – downtime is kept as short as possible.

From when does a retrofit make sense instead of a rebuild?

As soon as spare parts for the control system are hard to get but the mechanics are still in good condition, a retrofit is usually significantly cheaper and faster to implement than a complete new plant.

Which control systems can you replace?

Among others, Siemens S5 and older S7-300 controllers as well as other discontinued systems – upgraded to current Siemens and B&R technology including new visualization.

Which industries do you carry out retrofit projects for?

Across all industries. What matters is the condition of the mechanics, not the industry – we've completed projects in mechanical engineering, food processing and plant construction.
